Quietly and idyllically located between the two parts of the charming village of Kastellos, this house contains two wonderful separate homes. While the owner occupies one of the units and is always available as a helpful contact, the other unit is open to guests.
On the ground floor, the living room extends to a modern kitchen and dining area that overlooks the cozy terrace shaded by lush vines. A perfect place to relax and end the day.
An elegant internal staircase will take you to the first floor, where you will encounter two airy, comfortable bedrooms with luxury mattresses. The adjoining bathroom is equipped with a refreshing rain shower and offers all the facilities you need.
For outdoor socializing, an outdoor grill is available for you to prepare culinary delights and enjoy nature.
The spacious grounds surround the house with an abundance of trees and flowers that transform it into a picturesque paradise. The terraced garden gives the property a special touch and invite you to explore and relax.
Here you will be delighted not only by the beauty of the surroundings, but also by the kind companions that populate the property: three friendly dogs and two graceful geese will welcome you warmly.

The house is located in the charming village of Kastellos, just outside Rethymno, only 12 minutes drive from the beach and 10 minutes from the lively city center.
In the village itself, a cozy taverna awaits you, offering local delicacies and the perfect place to spend a long evening without the need to use the car.
In the neighboring village of Armeni, just a 5-minute drive away, you will find a variety of amenities including 2 supermarkets, 1 pharmacy, 2 gas stations, 1 cheese store, 1 hairdresser, 1 garden center, as well as a tempting array of tavernas and kafenions to explore the culinary diversity of Crete.
Immediately in the surrounding area stretches a majestic holm oak forest, which invites you to take relaxing walks and adventurous hikes and will delight the nature lovers among you.

A deposit of 50% of the total rental cost is due immediately to confirm the booking. Payment of the remaining 50% of the rental costs is due 8 weeks before arrival.
Cancellation policy:
For cancellations up to 8 weeks prior to arrival, 0% of the total rental cost will be retained as a cancellation fee, if cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to arrival, 50% of the total rental cost will be charged as cancellation fee and for less than 4 weeks 100%.
